FOTO Bali Festival 2026 returns and invites photographers, artists, and storytellers working with lens-based media to participate in our Call for Submissions under the theme AFTERIMAGE.

We are looking for works that reflect on what remains, transforms, or continues beyond an ending—images and projects that speak of memory, spirit, archive, ritual, disappearance, rebirth, and the traces we leave behind. AFTERIMAGE may reveal itself not only through what persists physically, but also through what lingers emotionally, culturally, or spiritually.

We welcome submissions in the form of still images, photo books, multimedia installations, and moving image projects. Whether your work explores remembrance, transformation, loss, regeneration, or unseen dimensions of existence, we are interested in stories that offer new ways of understanding continuity beyond life as we know it.
